Day 01 Arrival in Delhi

Our representative will receive you in Delhi and will help you check-in at the hotel. Relax for the rest of the day and enjoy a leisurely evening in Delhi.


Day 02 Sightseeing in Delhi

After having breakfast, get ready for a tour of Old and New Delhi in the fascinating city that has existed ever since the 6th century BC. Delhi is a witness to the rich history right from the rule of the Pandavas until the British Raj. Start by visiting the largest mosque in India, Jama Masjid that can hold about 25,000 worshippers in its courtyard. Emperor Shah Jahan commissioned the mosque. After exploring the mosque, take a rickshaw ride in the busiest market in Old Delhi, Chandni Chowk, which is uniquely Indian with all that noise and chaos. Drive to the Red Fort, which was the abode for the Mughal regal family and made under the rule of Emperor Shah Jahan. Every Independence Day, the Indian flag is hoisted here at the Red Fort, and the Prime Minister delivers a speech from its ramparts. Drive ahead to pass by other famous government buildings in Delhi, such as President House and Rajghat. It was at Rajghat that Mahatma Gandhi was cremated in 1948. Make a visit to Humayun’s Tomb, the tomb built by the Persian architect. There is ample use of red sandstone on a large scale in the first garden tomb built in the Indian sub-continent. Do not forget to visit the Qutab Minar, ordered by the first Muslim ruler of Delhi, Qutbuddin Aibak. It is the highest brick tower in the world.

Enjoy a Sufi ritual at Nizamuddin Dargah, which is an optional choice.

Day 03 Delhi - Agra (210 kms / approx. 4 hours)

Check-in into your Hotel on arrival in Agra and later, get ready for a Half Day Agra City Tour.

Begin your tour of the Red Fort that was built in 1565, under the rule of Akbar. It is a fine model of Mughal architecture and very beautiful. Visit the Taj Mahal, the construction of which took over 21 years to complete and employed thousands of workers. It is a representation of love and devotion between Emperor Shah Jahan and his Queen Mumtaz Mahal.

Return to hotel and stay overnight in Agra.


Day 04 Agra – Jaipur (230 km/approx. 5 hours)

Next day, drive to Jaipur after breakfast, and on the way, visit Fatehpur Sikri, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Fatehpur Sikri is home to several historical buildings and was the first choice of headquarters by Emperor Akbar. However, he had to abandon the city because of the shortage of water. Visit the burial place of the Sufi saint, the Tomb of Sheikh Salim Chishti.

Check into your Hotel once you reach Jaipur.

Jaipur is the door to the vibrant and colorful state of Rajasthan. Spend the evening strolling the markets of Jaipur and shop for the traditional dresses and shoes. You will love the variety of curio shops, blue pottery and other local handicrafts here.

Stay overnight in Jaipur.


Day 05 Jaipur Sightseeing

Enjoy the whole day exploring the ‘Pink City’ or Jaipur, which is painted pink, and hence the name because of that magical glow that envelops the city. The city boasts of several forts, palaces, and lakes.

Start with the Amber Fort and the right way to explore the fort is on elephant back. You will be fascinated by the perfect blend of Hindu and Mughal architecture in the Amber Fort. Stop at the Hawa Mahal, also famous as the “Palace of the Winds.” The beautiful façade of the Mahal is made of pink sandstone and windows covered with ornately carved latticework.

After having lunch, visit the City Palace and Jantar Mantar. City Palace is a fusion of Rajasthani and Mughal style architecture, and at the Jantar Mantar, you can see different geometric devices used for measuring time. Later, make a visit the Albert Hall, which is modeled after the Victoria and Albert Museum in London. Here, you get to see a fine Indo-Saracenic style of architecture.

As an option, you can enjoy a Bollywood film in the evening at the Raj Mandir cinema, amidst a high atmosphere color in the room.

Spend the night in Jaipur.


Day 06 Jaipur – Delhi (250 km/approx. 5 hours)

Once you have done your breakfast, it is time to drive to Delhi. Check-in at the hotel upon arrival.

You can spend the evening, watching a Multimedia Water Show at Akshardham Temple at Sahaj Anand, as an option.

Stay overnight in Delhi.


Day 07 Delhi – Cochin (By Fight)

After having breakfast, it is time to go to the airport where you will board the flight to Cochin. Our representative will help you reach your designated hotel for check-in.

After relaxing and resting for some time, get ready for a half day city tour, starting with Mattancherry Palace, which was gifted by Portuguese in 1555 to the king of Cochin. Explore other interesting spots such as Chinese fishing nets and 500-year-old Jewish Synagogue. You will love the local spices market and the Kathakali Dance performance.

Return to the hotel for overnight stay.


Day 08 Cochin to Munnar (120 km/approx. 4.5 hours)

Next day, drive to Munnar after breakfast.

Munnar derives its name from the convergence of the three rivers and the town offers beautiful vistas to its visitors. There are aromatic oil factories and cardamom and spice plantations. Do some sightseeing of endangered species of flora and fauna as well as the Neelakurinji flowers that bloom only every twelve years.

Spend the evening at leisure once you are back to your hotel and stay overnight.


Day 09 Sightseeing in Munnar

Next day, get ready to explore Eravikulam National Park that boasts of several endangered species. Enjoy stunning views of the tea plantations and trekking. Proceed towards Tea Museum to get an insight on the tea plantations history of this region. Do include Eco Point, Mattupetty Dam, and Flower Garden in your tour.

Spend the night in your hotel.


Day 10 Munnar – Thekkady (110 km / approx. 3 hours)

Drive to Thekkady (Periyar) after breakfast and check-in at the hotel on arrival. Get ready for a whole day trip of Periyar, which is located in the Western Ghats ranges in Kerala. Visit the Periyar National Park and Tiger Reserve. You will love the view of the picturesque lake right in the heart of the sanctuary. If you are lucky, you can watch playful wild elephants frolicking, bathing and swimming in the water of Periyar Lake,w which happens to be their favorite haunt. Take a boat ride to enjoy the wildlife at close quarters that comprises of wild dog, barking deer, mouse deer, leopard, wild, Nilgiri langur, bonnet macaque, squirrels, gaur (Indian bison), sambar, porcupines, wild boar and sloth bear.

After that, make a trip to the spice plantation tour to enjoy the pleasant ambiance and aroma of the spice and tea plantations of Periyar. Spices that can be found in Thekkady include nutmeg, ginger, turmeric, pepper, clove, vanilla and curry leaves .cardamom. Watch traditional Kalari show in the evening.

Enjoy an elephant ride in Periyar(Optional).

Return to the hotel for overnight stay.


Day 11 Thekkady – Alleppey (130 km / approx. 4 hours)

Drive to Alleppey after breakfast, and on arrival board your houseboat to explore the large network of backwater canals in Alleppey, "Venice of the East." Meander your way through the town, surrounding villages and spend time on Vembanad Lake.

Stay overnight on the houseboat.


Day 12 Departure from Cochin

Next day, go to the Cochin airport after breakfast, to catch the return flight back home.
