Today, you will arrive in Kochi and you will be met by our representative to the small backwaters village of Poochakkal. Your stay is arranged at an Indian homestay – Olavipe , which is a century-old traditional Keralan style mansion set near the banks of the backwaters amid lush tropical greenery .
Today, take the day at leisure and enjoy the serene and peaceful surroundings of Olavipe. If interested you can dive deep into learning traditional Keralan recipes from the family cook. Visit the neighbouring village on a local boat through the winding canals.
After breakfast, we leave Poochakkal and continue the short distance to Puthenkayal. We will reach Poochakkal by boat and stay for 2 nights at Philipkutty’s Farm, a delightful traditional-style Malayali cottage on the waterfront.
Today, you will be enjoying your stay at Philip Kutty’s Farm and the nearby village. The farm boasts of coconut, banana, cocoa, nutmeg and pepper plantations. Spend a day at leisure experiencing the authentic backwaters life.
This morning leave Puthenkayal and drive to Kanam for a two-night stay. The village Kanam is surrounded by rubber plantations, tea hills and the backwaters.
Today your day is at leisure. You can choose to explore the countryside, the many surrounding plantations, neighbouring tropical garden or take a leisurely bicycle ride.
We will drive to the Alleppey – the Keralan backwaters to stay at the houseboat cruise for 2 nights.
Your day is at leisure. Soak in the picturesque lakes, coconut shaded canals and estuaries. Witness local life with children swimming and playing in the water, women attending to their daily chores and men fishing from their canoes.
After breakfast, we will leave for Mararikulam and your stay is arranged at Marari Beach Resort.

In the morning, we will leave Mararikulam and return by car to Kochi.
After breakfast, we will start the Fort Kochi tour with your professional tour guide. The sightseeing tour includes the church of St Francis, the oldest European church in India, the iconic Chinese fishing nets, Mattancherry Palace, which was built by the Portuguese in 1557 as a gift to the Raja of Kochi. We will end the tour with a sunset cruise around the bustling harbour.
