3 Hours Before Flight Time
Today you will depart from the UK to Delhi.
You arrive Delhi & our representative will meet you at the airport for assisted transfer to the respective hotel.
Delhi is the capital of India and one of the most historic cities in the world. The city is as fascinating as its history. On one hand where we have Old Delhi that was developed in the17th and 19th centuries by the Mughal Empire – home to mosques, forts and crumbling monuments. On the other hand, you have New Delhi that is lined with government buildings, wide tree-lined avenues and attractive white-washed bungalows. It was used as the capital in the British colonial era.
Today, we start our sightseeing tour. Morning, we will leave for Old Delhi. You will be assisted with an English speaking guide. We will take a rickshaw ride through the network of alleyways, homes, bazaars and mosques. We will be exploring the colourful Chandni Chowk market, beautiful Jama Masjid, Red Fort and Rajghat.
Later, we will leave for New Delhi that was designed by Sir Edwin Lutyens. We will be driving past Rashtrapati Bhawan, the official residence of the Indian President, Rajpath and the imposing India Gate.
Early this morning, we will be travelling by train from Delhi to Agra. Your stay is arranged.
There is no denying to the fact that no trip to Agra is complete withough visiting Taj Mahal, the greatest monuments to ever have been built. Later, we will also visit imposing Agra Fort, established by the Mughal Emperor Akbar in 1565, and the tomb of Itmad-ud-Daula.
This day we will leave from Agra and drive to Fatehpur Sikri. This city served as the capital of the Mughal Emperor Akbar and has been constructed of beautiful red sandstone. Later, we will also be visiting Abhaneri that is home to the famous 8th century Chand Baori, the deepest step-well in the world.
Later, reach Jaipur where we have arranged your 2 nights stay.
Today morning, we will be travelling a little outside of Jaipur to visit Amber Fort. This fort served as the Rajput capital for over 700 years. Take a walk through the well-tended gardens and small temples to the private chambers of the Maharaja.
Later in the afternoon, we will return to Jaipur and visit City Palace complex which is home to the beautiful Peacock Gate and famous Hawa Mahal, or ‘Palace of the Winds’.
We will visit Jantar Mantar later, which is the largest stone observatory in the world.
Today, after breakfast, we leave Jaipur and drive through the Thar Desert to Jodhpur, which is also called the ‘blue city’. This city is instantly recognizable because of the mighty Mehrangarh Fort that encapsulates the centre of the city.
This day, we will be starting our Jodhpur sightseeing tour with Meherangarh Fort. This magnificent fort is well maintained and offers a chance to deeply explore the fascinating ancient life of the city. It houses many palaces and temples.
After breakfast, we will be driving to the small market town of Deogarh. We have arranged your stay at Deogarh Mahal for two nights. Deogarh Mahal is a traditional Mewari fort with classic Rajasthani interiors.
Take the day at leisure. You can enjoy Deogarh and the surrounding region. Choose to birdwatch, walk the surrounding hills, picnic by the lake or ride the local train.
After breakfast, we will be driving through the picturesque countryside to the Jain temple complex at Ranakpur on our way to Udaipur. These temples are over 550 years old. And, then continue driving to Udaipur, a city that is characteristic of grand palaces, placid lakes, and gardens.
After breakfast, we will take a day tour of City Palace which overlooks Lake Pichola. The palace is still the royal residence of the Maharaja of Udaipur. Take a tour of the star attractions like the Mor Chowk court, Manak Mahal, Chini ki Chitra Mahal and Queen’s Palace. Also, we will be visiting the neighbouring Fateh Prakash Palace and taking a walking tour of the old town including Jagdish Mandir temple. End the day with a sunset cruise on Lake Pichola.
Today, we will transfer you to Udaipur Airport where you will be boarding your flight to Mumbai for a two-night stay.
We will start our day with a tour to the Gateway of India, which is one of the iconic locations of the city, built to commemorate the visit of King George V in 1911. Then we will continue to Prince of Wales Museum and from here stroll through the historic Colaba for its incredible Gothic architecture. Then we will proceed to Malabar Hill and lastly Dobhi Ghat to watch the daily life of the laundrymen.
