3 Hours Before Flight Time
Today you will depart from the UK to Cochin in an overnight flight.
Today, you arrive in Cochin and our representative will meet you at the airport. You will be transferred to the hotel for two nights. Cochin is also called the Venice of the East. Spend your afternoon at the sunset harbour to see Bolgahtty Island and the Chinese fishing nets.
In the morning, we will proceed for a city tour including the Dutch Palace, with its 17th-century murals of Ramayana. We will also be visiting the Jewish Synagogue, built-in 1568, Fort Cochin and St Francis Church, the oldest European church in India. In the afternoon, we will watch the famous Kathakali dance performance.
Today, we will head to Munnar by the road, the area is right in the midst of cardamom and tea plantations, on the Western Ghats. In the afternoon, we will explore the town.
Today, we will head to visit tea and spice plantations. Also, see Anaimudi (2695m), the highest peak in South India. You can also choose to visit Mattupetty Dam Evarikulam National park to see the Nilgiri Thar (wild goat).
After breakfast, we will head to Periyar National Park for its elephant herds and a rich variety of birdlife.
The morning is at leisure. In the afternoon, proceed for a boat ride in Lake Periyar.
After breakfast drive to Kumarakom. You will be staying here for two nights and indulge in Ayurvedic treatments.
A day at leisure to relax on the shores of the Vembanad Lake.
After breakfast, we will take the rice boat and cruise through the Vembanad Lake. Overnight stay in the houseboat.
In the morning, leave for a the houseboat in Alappuzha (Alleppey), an enchanting backwater destination famous for coir and carpet products, fish and lakes.
In the morning, take a train to Trivandrum and you will then be moving to Kovalam – known for its beach of silver sands with rows and rows of tall palm trees. Reminder of the day at leisure. Three nights stay in Kovalam.
Transfer to the International airport in Trivandrum towards your onward journey to UK
