Steeped in incredible opulence, Maharajas’ Express, the world’s leading luxury train is equipped with exquisite interiors, state of the art amenities and impeccable hospitality. Maharajas’ Express has four cabin configurations—Deluxe, Junior Suite, Suite and President Suite. Each guest cabin comes equipped with RFID door locks, individual temperature control, fire alarm, attached washrooms with showers, electronic safe, live television, DVD player, WiFi Internet and a water filtration plant. Besides round the clock valet service, a paramedic is available throughout the journey of the train, which is equipped with CCTV cameras. There is a souvenir shop also.
There are two tastefully done dining cars as well, offering a range of delicacies. The seating capacity of the dining cars is 84 to ensure that all guests eat together. A bar car, named Safari, and the lounge, known as the Rajah Club, have well stocked bar. In the dining car, guests enjoy meals in gold-crested plates and spoons that have been imported from Paris.

Welcome to India! You are met by our representative in the arrival area of the airport after you clear all immigration and customs formalities. Depart for your hotel where you will check-in for your stay. Rest of the day is at leisure
After buffet breakfast at the hotel, you will proceed for a sightseeing tour of Delhi. Highlights will include Jama Masjid, drive past Red Fort, Raj Ghat. Imperial Delhi will include driving past the Parliament and Presidents House, India Gate. This evening, assemble at Delhi Safdurjung station at approximately 2045 hours and complete your registration and check-in formalities for the Maharajas’ Express, as you enjoy the Live Music, sipping into your Welcome Drink.
Arrive into Agra – the Jewel of India. Early this morning, disembark to visit the world-famous Taj Mahal (one of the Seven Wonders of the World), built by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan as the mausoleum for his favourite queen Mumtaz Mahal. A UNESCO World Heritage Site, this incomparable marvel is constructed entirely out of white marble and is an architectural masterpiece with beautiful inlay work and marble screens. Later, enjoy Champagne breakfast at Taj Khema, a tableland overlooking the magnificent Taj!
On arrival into Sawai Madhopur, early in the morning, get ready for an exciting safari to the ‘Ranthambore National Park’. Originally the private hunting ground of the Maharajas of Jaipur, Ranthambore was declared a National Park in 1973. The Park is famous for its open sightings of tigers, sambar, chital, nilgai, chinkara, wild boar, sloth bear, hyena, jackal and leopard. Return to the train. Enjoy a relaxed breakfast on board and unwind over lunch as your journey continues to Jaipur.
After lunch disembarks to visit the Amber Fort. The Amber Fort, set in picturesque and rugged hills is a fascinating blend of Hindu and Mughal architecture.
Breakfast will be served 0715 hours onwards on board as you arrive into Delhi. At 0830 hours Maharajas’ Express arrives into Delhi Safdurjung Railway Station. Disembark and bid farewell to the Maharajas’ Express as your journey comes to an end.
