3 Hours Before Flight Time
Today you will take an International flight from the UK to Delhi.
Today, you will arrive in Delhi. Our representative will meet you at the Delhi International Airport and you will be transferred to the hotel. Today in the evening, we will join the top celebrity chef at the award-winning restaurant Indian Accent. Here, the menu has been designed by award-winning chef Manish Mehrotra.
After breakfast, we start a full-day tour of Delhi. We will start with Humayun’s Tomb, the first garden-tomb of India that was built in1570. Then, proceed to Qutub Minar complex that was once the tallest minaret in India. Later we will be driving to India Gate – a war memorial to commemorate the Indian soldiers who died in the First World War, on the Northwest Frontier and in the Afghan War of 1919. Drive past Rashtrapati Bhavan, the official residence of the President of India.
In the afternoon we will be taking the iconic rickshaw ride in the old narrow lanes of the old city – Chandni Chowk. Here we will be visiting the largest spice market in Asia – Khari Baoli in operation since the 17th century.
Later we will be joining the celeb chef for a cooking demonstration of the cuisine of Delhi.
Today, we will take the express train to Agra, which was once the one-time capital of the Mughals. The first thing reaching this magnificent city, we will be visiting the Taj Mahal, the greatest monument to love, built by Shah Jahan as a memorial to his wife Mumtaz. We will continue sightseeing at the imposing Agra Fort which overlooks the River Yamuna. Proceed for the tomb of Itmad-ud-Daula, which is also known as the Baby Taj. Later visit Mehtab Bagh and end the day with a sunset view over the Yamuna River to the Taj Mahal.
Today, after breakfast we will be leaving for Agra by car and en-route visit Fatehpur Sikri, the then capital of the Mughal Empire.
In the afternoon, we will stop at the Laxmi Vilas Palace Hotel for lunch. Proceed for Jaipur where your stay is arranged at Jai Mahal Palace in Jaipur.
In the evening, we go to Dera Mandawa, a small family-owned hotel, for a Rajasthani cookery demonstration. You will have traditional Rajasthani music over some authentic Rajasthani home-cooked food.
In the morning, we will leave for Amber Fort, a little on the outskirts of Jaipur. This is a beautiful royal complex of palaces, temples and gardens set high on a ridge above the rugged hills. Later we will visit nearby Nahargarh Fort, also known as Tiger Fort, for the amazing views of the city.
Later in the afternoon head to City Palace complex that was completed in 1732 including Hawa Mahal, or ‘Palace of the Winds’. Later we will be visiting the Jantar Mantar, the largest stone observatory in the world, and a short walk through the bazaar.
In the evening, we will be joined by the top celeb chef followed by a BBQ dinner.
In the morning, we will be taking a guided tour from Chandpole Gate to see the spice market. We will have at the most popular Laxmi Mishthan Bhandar, which is a popular vegetarian restaurant. Later, we will take a flight back to Delhi.
In the evening, your dinner is arranged at the famous Bukhara Restaurant.
