Diwali Special India Holiday - Golden Triangle with Udaipur 6N/7D

Day 1DELHI

Our representative will meet you in the arrival area of the airport. He will be assisting you and transfer you to your hotel where you will check-in for your stay. After breakfast, we will proceed for the city tour of Old & New Delhi that includes a visit to the 17th century Jama Masjid. You will also be taking a normal rickshaw ride through the narrow, winding lanes of colourful and bustling Chandni Chowk. Visit the Red Fort followed by Raj Ghat where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated. In the afternoon proceed to New Delhi where you will be taken for the Drive past of The Presidential Palace, the India Gate, a memorial raised and a drive along the Rajpath past the Parliament House and secretarial buildings.

Cooking Demo with Indian Family: Hands-on cooking lessons along with a visit to the local market with an Indian family.

Day 2DELHI - AGRA

You will have an assisted transfer to Agra, which was once a small village on the banks of the Yamuna. The Mughals transformed it. Shah Jehan created it into the second capital of the Mughal Empire – Dar-ul-Khilafat, or ‘seat of the Emperor’ in the 16th &
17th century.

On reaching Agra, we will start the Agra city tour visiting Agra Fort, which was originally started by Emperor Akbar in 1565, but his son, Jahangir, and grandson, Shah Jahan, later made valuable additions to it. After fort visit, check-in at the hotel.

Later, visit Itmad-ud-Daula, also known as the Baby Taj. This tomb was built in 1622 for Ghiyas Beg, father of Empress
Noor-Jahan, the wife of Emperor Jahangir.

In the evening, proceed for the sunset visit of the Taj Mahal (Closed on All Fridays) with your guide.

In the afternoon, we will take a walk through the narrow bridle path through agriculture fields near Mehtab Bagh takes
you into the ancient village of Kachpura and Humayun’s Mosque.

Day 3AGRA - JAIPUR via FATEHPUR SIKRI

After breakfast, drive to Jaipur in your private car en route visiting Fatehpur Sikri. This was once the seat of Mughal legacy, that stood abandoned.

Day 4JAIPUR

Today morning after an early breakfast visit the hilltop fortress at Amber. A jeep will spare you the trouble of reaching up to the fortress. Once on top, stroll through the sprawling complex of courtyards and halls. En-route to Amber Fort you will stop and see the `Palace of Winds’, otherwise known as Hawa Mahal.

In the afternoon, visit the City Palace, which is an overwhelming complex of exquisite palaces, gardens and courtyards, decorative art and carved doorways. Afterwards visit Jaipur’s Jantar Mantar is the most famous of five observatories built by Sawai Jai Singh in India. Jai Singh was a great admirer of progress and research made in the fields of science and technology, and he was passionate about astronomy.

Day 5Drive to UDAIPUR

Today, we will drive to Udaipur. Check-in at the hotel and the rest of the evening is at leisure.

Day 6UDAIPUR

In the morning, after breakfast, we will proceed for the sightseeing tour of the city.

At first, we visit the City Palace – a conglomerate of eleven palaces overlooking the sprawling Lake Pichola. We will take a tour of the private collection of precious and rare crystals from the Royal treasure. For more than 100 years the crystals remained underground, and the gallery was not open to public prospect due to its beauty and richness.

Next, we will visit the Jagdish Temple – dedicated to Lord Vishnu. We will also Sahelion-ki-bari, the spectacular garden displaying the unique lifestyle of the royal ladies who once lived in the Palaces.

In the afternoon, take a shared boat ride on the placid waters of Lake Pichola towards Jag Mandir Palace Rest of the day is at leisure.
